NetBeans for Python – Setup

Installation of python plugin requires NetBeans IDE 8.0.2!!

1: Download and install NetBeans IDE
Choose the flavour you need – I used “HTML5 & PHP”

2: Download the Python Plugin for NetBeans

3: Install the plugin:
TOOLS menu, choose PLUGINS
PLUGIN window, DOWNLOADED tab, click ADD PLUGINS
Select the DOWNLOADED plugins folder, SELECT, click OPEN
FILE menu, NEW PROJECT
Choose Python Project
Set PROJ NAME & LOCATION, Select PYTHON development version 2.7 or 3.x
