Copying and pasting conditional formatting
Post
**There is no “official way” in FileMaker Pro to copy and paste conditional formatting from one object to another.
SOLUTION:
1. e.g. : you have 5 objects on your layout.
2. One of them already has the conditional formatting, and 4 of the other objects need to inherit that conditional formatting.
3. Bring the one object with the conditional formatting to the FRONT, so that it is the frontmost object amongst all 5 objects.
4. Select ALL of the objects
5. Go into the conditional formatting dialog box.
6. All of your desired conditional formatting will appear in the dialog box, because FileMaker will grab the conditional formatting from the FRONTMOST object.
7. Press OK.
All objects now have the conditional formatting.
