Downloading YouTube (or other) media for local review

Delivery of reference materials by client was done by sending YouTube links…
Command line solution:
youtube-dl (linux, osx)

To install for all UNIX users (Linux, OS X, etc.):

2 sudo curl https://yt-dl.org/latest/youtube-dl -o /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl
sudo chmod a+rx /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl
If you do not have curl, use wget:

2 sudo wget https://yt-dl.org/downloads/latest/youtube-dl -O /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl
sudo chmod a+rx /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl
Sample format:
