DaVinvi Resolve 12 – Move database between computers

Before you can reconnect (Restore) a database created on a different system, a blank database needs to be created on the clean install.

Otherwise the system will not allow you to import (Restore) a previously saved database. There is no error message indicating the problem.

This process is destructive, and will overwrite the current local database.

This does not apply to the “Studio” version – where network databases are allowed.
